TAKE STOCK
We have reviewed our action plan, and I am confident that we have made
significant progress over the past two and a half weeks.
Membership eligibility has been established, and we have received several
requests from individuals wishing to become official members of the Cutchi
community.
We have also met with the tenant, and since there is no tenancy agreement
in place, we will consider creating one once the new committee members
have been elected.
Additionally, we have been working on updating the constitution to ensure it
aligns with our goals. Applications for becoming a charitable organisation
have been initiated and will be completed by the incoming committee.
The building insurance is now in place.
What remains is the presentation of the accounts and overseeing the
elections. Regarding the elections, we will need to explore methods to
ensure a fair process.
As for the accounts, we have decided to provide transparency by sharing
updates over the next three days. This is a shift from our initial plan to submit
the accounts to the accountant for verification before presenting them to the
Cutchi community. However, we feel confident in our accounting experience
to move forward with this approach, and Nasir’s investigation may offer
additional insights into our accounts. The accountant can then review our
records in preparation for proper financial reporting for the incoming
committee.
This will bring us to the end of the three-week period since the workforce
was established, at which point we will begin winding down the workforce.
